Huffmaster Companies is recruiting Experienced Operating Engineers for a Food Processing Facility located in New Jersey that may have a labor dispute in Spring/Summer 2018.

Pay rate $65 per hour 

48 Hour Guarantee per each full week worked

Overtime for all hours over 40 in a work week

 

We Provide:

  • Air travel or reimbursed mileage (one round trip) if you live within 300 miles of the job site

Requirements:

  • Must have a New Jersey Blue Seal 1-C Stationary Engineers License

      Huffmaster Companies is recruiting Oregon Licensed Industrial Electricians for a manufacturing facility located in the Portland area for a possible labor dispute that may occur in Spring/Summer 2018

      Pay rate $75/hr

      48 Hour Guarantee per each full week worked

      Overtime paid for all hours over 40 in a work week

      License Requirement: either Licensed in the State of Oregon OR  if not, we can assist with licensing if you are licensed as a Journeyman's Electrician in 1 of the following states:

      • Arkansas

      • Idaho

      • Maine

      • Montana

      • Utah

      • Wyoming

      In order to use the license from one of the above states You must have taken the Journeyman's test for licensing  states AND passed with a minimum of 75% as well as worked at least  1000 hours as a Journeyman Electrician under that license in those states.  

      If you meet both those requirements while working in one of the above states, we will assist and pay for licensing in the State of Oregon.

      Job Requirements:

      Job Summary

      The locomotive operator runs the locomotive to move full cars around the track and into the rail unload and then pushes empty cars onto the track out onto the main line for removal.  The Locomotive operator will also push to the stub track if any car needs repair.  The locomotive operator takes direction from the switchman.  The locomotive operator's cab is heated, but has no air conditioning.  There are windows that open to provide outside air.  The locomotive operator is required to inspect the locomotive at the start of each shift.  When rail car movement is slack, the locomotive operator will clean the engine as necessary.  As needed, the locomotive operator is also responsible to see that the engine is fueled and has correct oil levels.  The locomotive operator also loads on sand as needed for traction.

      • Using hands and arms in handling, installing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.

      Job Summary

      Locomotive Pilot is responsible for supporting the  feed loading operations in the plant by piloting the locomotive. This position operates the locomotive when spotting, moving and positioning any type of rail car throughout the facility. The BFL-Locomotive Pilot works in close association with the Bulk Loader-Switchman to ensure rail car switches and movement are conducted in a manner consistent with the Traffic Department Yardmaster. This position may also place seals on car bottom product tubes, air tubes and blow down valves.

                  • Six months to one year experience operating a CNC machine, secondary machine.  Familiarity with quality control gauges.
                  Skills and Abilities
                  • Understanding of machine set up sheets and process control plans.
                  • Understanding of the use of hand held gauges
                  • Ability to wash machined parts using automatic washing or manual washing equipment
                  • Ability to use basic gauging and measuring equipment
                  • Ability to identify defects and inspect parts using process control plans
                  • Ability to start all secondary equipment from power off to cycle start and operate all secondary equipment
                  Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations
                  • Certified in operation of the cells
                  • Forklift certification preferred

                  • Handle or feel objects, tools or controls and reach with hands and arms
                  • Required to handle parts weighing from 5 to 50 pounds
                  • Requires very repetitive upper extremity work in all tasks

                  Work Environment
                  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, vibration, and temperature extremes in the plant environment
                  • The noise level ranges from low (office environment) to moderate (general plant environment) to high (near machines)

                  $28/hr with a $2/hr job completion bonus
                  60 hour guarantee for each full week worked
